Whimsical Opens In Adelaide!

Whimsical Cakehouse are delighted to announce the opening of our academy in Adelaide, in partnership with the Adelaide Chocolate School.

We are very lucky to have Lisa Grech-Staehr heading up the team. Lisa is a wonderfully talented decorator and is very much looking forward to teaching the Whimsical course syllabus to her fellow Adelaide locals.

It also means that Whimsical will be able to bring some of the renowned international artists with whom we work to the Adelaide cake decorating community. Whimsical’s 2012 line-up already includes cake artists such as Peggy Porschen, Jacqueline Butler, Kaysie Lackey and Debbie Brown.

Whimsical Adelaide will be based alongside the Adelaide Chocolate School at Level 1, 96 Gawler Place, Adelaide. Anna Hofmeyer, Managing Director at the Chocolate School, said that “there is a huge demand for couture cake classes here in Adelaide.  We are very pleased to be able to welcome an organisation with Whimsical’s teaching reputation to Adelaide.”
